PAYMENTS, TERMS & CONDITIONS

At SHEL Fine Jewelry, we craft bespoke, one-of-a-kind pieces designed to reflect your vision, values, and personal story. To ensure clarity and a seamless process, we kindly ask that all clients review and agree to the following terms prior to beginning their custom journey with us.

Bespoke Deposit Requirement

To initiate a custom project, we require a non-refundable $1,500 deposit, which secures your spot in our design queue and covers the initial concept and design work. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of your finished piece.

DELIVERABLES INCLUDED

Each bespoke piece includes a comprehensive design service, crafted to ensure you feel confident and creatively involved:

• Initial Consultation
  You will receive a 60-minute design consultation—either in person or remotely—to discuss your aesthetic, vision, and intentions for the piece.

• Design Mock-Up
  Our team will create a detailed visual representation of your piece based on the information gathered in our session.

• One Round of Modifications
  You’ll have the opportunity to request one round of changes to your design mock-up before we finalize and move into production.

• CAD Drawing + Final Design Approval
  A final CAD rendering will be sent for your written approval before production begins. Once this is approved, the design is locked. Any revisions beyond this point will require a formal change order and additional fees.

Our goal is to create a piece that exceeds your expectations while maintaining clarity and efficiency throughout the process.

DISCLAIMER: HEIRLOOM PROJECTS

We are honored to work with heirloom stones and sentimental materials, and we approach each with the utmost care and respect. However, due to the nature and age of heirloom materials, SHEL Fine Jewelry cannot be held liable for potential damage such as chipping, breaking, or metal fatigue that may occur during handling or resetting.

We strongly recommend that clients secure adequate insurance for all fine jewelry projects—whether heirloom or new—through a homeowners, renters, or individual policy. This protects against loss, theft, or damage at every stage of the process.

BESPOKE PAYMENT STRUCTURE

Our payment schedule is broken into three phases to ensure transparency and ease:

Phase 1:
→ $1,500 non-refundable design deposit to begin the custom process (credited toward total invoice).

Phase 2:
→ 50% of the total invoice (minus design deposit) due before entering the production phase.

Phase 3:
→ Remaining 50% balance due prior to shipping or in-person pick-up.

Final balances must be paid within 14 business days of project completion. Please note that sales tax will be applied to all orders where applicable.

By submitting your initial deposit, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions outlined above.
